AK vs AK

We got the opportunity to design a poster for Ak vs Ak’s official music launch. We decided it would be fun to represent the animosity between the main characters through the poster, it being the main theme of the movie. We took design inspiration from the starting and ending credits of the movie which involved a lot of pop colours, grunge and 8 bit design elements. We selected an image of Anil Kapoor holding Anurag’s collar for the poster since it correctly represented the rugged, in your face attitude of the songs. We also involved a lot of glitch and music equalizer elements to be in sync with what we were communicating. Being a fan of both the leads it was great fun designing this and being a part of the movie’s social marketing campaign.
