Bulbbul

We were briefed to plan the marketing campaign for Bulbbul which is an Anushka Sharma production. Like any horror title we were asked by Netflix to lean it more towards mystery thriller rather than an all-out horror film. These are two significant assets for me which were created in the marketing process. We needed to show the main character of the movie along with building intrigue about the mysterious aspect of the story. We needed to seed the audience with the right amount of details to put across the point that this is primarily a mystery in a horror setting. We also did some social activity with the cast using the red moon which was a crucial aspect of the movie. The same thing we extended to the motion key visual with Bulbbul and the red moon portraying that there is a sinister connection between the two.
