Meet the Backbenchers

One of the assets we made for the social promotion of Class of 83 was Meet the Backbenchers which was written to introduce the main characters of the movie. The task was to use the premise of the movie to introduce the character using the main lead (Bobby Deol) in a way that it looks like he is introducing them but also selecting them for the main mission around which the movie revolves. We used the desk of Bobby’s character as the central element and as the camera goes over it we get introduced to the candidates through the files on the desk. Through this treatment we got the opportunity to put across Bobby’s personality and we were also able to share his views about the main characters. The table was composited reimagining elements which you might see on the desk of cop in the 80s.
