Extraction Instagram Filter Game

We proposed to make an Instagram game filter for the social promotion of the movie Extraction starring Chris Hemsworth. We wanted to make a shooter game where the audience controls Tyler Rake (Chris’s character in the movie) by moving their heads and shoot the gun he is holding to take out bad buys coming from the top of the screen. The game went through a few rounds of changes as we were designing it. We realized different restrictions which we had to be aware of while making the game. We were not allowed to use guns or show any kind of killing in the game so towards the end of the project it changed to Tyler Rake dodging bad guys who kept appearing from the top of the screen with increasing intensity. It was fun creating this asset and we learnt a lot as a team.
