Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle

The Hindi dub of Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle is voiced by some A list Bollywood celebrities and Netflix really wanted to communicate this fact with their audience. Celebrities like Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff were going to voice the main characters of the movie and it made sense to make assets portraying them with the characters. We presented the concept of double exposure to the client which when approved was shot with the stars and matched with screen grabs from the movie. It was very important to match the personality of the character and the look of the stars to get the desired result. We decided to go for a very gritty look which complemented the dark and raw appeal of the movie. The posters were further picked up on social media and used in the promotion of the movie.
