Sacred Fool
Early 2019 the buzz around the release of sacred games season 2 was very strong. Fans were eagerly waiting for it after the cliff-hanger season 1 ended with. The brand team proposed to the client that it would be great to use this buzz and create an exciting campaign for April fool’s day. 14 days prior to the day we put out a post saying something is going to happen in 14 days. Periodically we decided to put out creative assets in the same style of the show’s starting credits to increase drama among fans online. Many online said this can be an April fool’s trick but the creatives did good to hide the truth. We took pop references from the show Friends and used them in the assets. Antara Mahavana = In the Jungle, Bidalah-a-Gita = Smelly Cat, Katham Asti = How you doin?, Unagamam = Unagi. The reveal on April 1st was a dramatic video were we had popular show characters build the tension in the beginning and then reveal the truth that season 2 is not so far away but till then enjoy your favorite show, Friends.
