Theory Restaurant Branding
I worked in a Branding firm called Bloody Paper Boat and got the opportunity brand a new fine dining restaurant and bar based in Lower Parel, Mumbai. This included nomenclature development, visual strategy, brand identity creation, design language, collaterals, communication design, menus and uniforms. This was the first time I was working on a branding process for a restaurant and it was very enlightening to say the least. I got to understand how a fine dining restaurant works and what demands have to be fulfilled to brand a fine dining place. The overall look needed to be very chic but not too serious. We decided the personality and tone of voice for the restaurant and came to a consensus with some metaphors to start the branding process which was very exciting to learn.
