Women’s Premier League

It was great pleasure to work for this campaign. We first pitched for it and won the project after two rounds. The tonality and look had to be gritty and rugged. We had to portray the women’s Mumbai Indians team at par with the men’s team. It being the first year of women’s premier league tournament we had to make a statement and that statement was “Aali Re”. The idea came from the men’s team song, but it fit perfectly with what we had to say about our women’s team. The visual treatment we went for was very gritty illustration style. We wrote an anthem for the team, and we visualized it showing young girls getting excited about their favorite women cricketers now in Mumbai Indians.
